Renovation of a town house from the 19th century.
The spacious city-villa located at the Feierabendstrasse in Basel and dating back to the 19th century was after a change of ownership in need of thorough refurbishment. Character and spacial organisation of the building was respected and kept intact. The existing Windows were thermally improved without changing the appearance. The old kitchen and all wet rooms were completely redone. Different colours were given to the refurbished wet rooms in order to create relations between ceilings, walls and custom-made furnishings.
