'Raumplanung und Architektur im 2. Maschinenzeitalter - ein Annäherungsversuch'
HANS-GEORG BÄCHTOLD qualified as a forest engineer and spatial planner at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH). Having worked in research and teaching, including at the ETH, he successfully managed Oekogeo Ltd, an engineering consultancy in Schaffhausen. In 1998 he became a planner at the canton of Basel-Landschaft’s spatial planning office. Since 2009 he has served as Managing Director of the Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects (SIA).
