'Duftkulisse – die unsichtbare Architektur'
VERO KERN. Originally trained as a pharmaceutical assistant, Vero Kern came into contact with aromas and fragrance ingredients early on. At the age of 54, and after a long period working for Swissair, she began working independently as a massage and aroma therapist in 1994. A two-year training course as an aroma therapist at the same time gave her a firm foundation for professional involvement with essential oils and absolutes. From 1998, she attended a range of training courses and seminars at Cinquième Sens, a perfumery college in Paris. In 2007 she presented her first perfume, ‘Kiki’ under her label at Vero Profumo - as well as all subsequent fragrances - produced as carefully crafted perfumes that received great response in the professional world. Vero Kern was involved in the project, ‘Wartezeiten (Waiting times)' of the Bern University of Arts, a project to improve spatial waiting situations to stress-related locations.
