LUKAS BUOL is an architect and leads since 1991 with partner Marco Zünd the office of Buol & Zünd Architects in Basel. After an apprenticeship as a draftsman he studied Architecture at the Engineering School HTL in Muttenz from 1986 - 1989. He was a guest lecturer at the School of Design in Basel. In 2000, he was accepted member of the Federation of Swiss Architects BSA. In his architectural work he is interested in the question how proportion and the wall opening organizes space. Insofar Lukas Buol enjoys working erratically within the disciplines of architecture, interior design, furniture and product design.
MARTIN LACHMANN hold a 'patchwork career': an education in engineering, studying electrical engineering and a long work as a sound engineer in the field of acoustics. In 1999 he founded the engineering office 'applied acoustics' that specializes in demanding acoustic projects. Martin Lachmann is a member of the Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects SIA, the Swiss Society for Acoustics SGA, the Audio Engineering Society AES and the Institute of Acoustics IOA (UK). Together with his wife Joanna Zjadacz-Lachmann he is Lecturer for acoustic design at the Architecture Department of the Berner Fachhochschule (BFH) and also teaching at the School of design and interior design at the TU Darmstadt.
