The buildings of the architectural group 'BIG Bjarke Ingels Group', formerly known as 'PLOT' together with 'JDS Julian de Smith', repeatedly deal with the phenomenon of locomotion and the associated architectural significance of the corresponding means of transport. For the 'VeloCity' dialogue, schauraum-b presents three buildings by BIG: The 'Mountain House' and the '8-House' in the new Ørestad district of Copenhagen and the Danish pavilion 'XPO 2010' in Shanghai. Kai-Uwe Bergmann, office partner at BIG, gave a presentation on the subject of architecture and the city from the perspective of VeloCity.
