Adrian Lobe studied political science and law at the universities of Paris, Tübingen and Heidelberg. He works as a freelance journalist for various daily and weekly newspapers in German-speaking countries. In 2016, he was awarded the 'Surveillance Studies' research network prize for his articles on data protection and surveillance.
