Accommodation of asylum seekers in federal asylum centres

PASCAL SCHWARZ was born in Basel and studied philosophy at the University of Iceland in Reykjavik. Since 2008, he has performed various tasks at the State Secretariat for Migration SEM, including as project manager of the emergency concept for asylum, which was developed in close cooperation with the cantons and adopted by the Federal Council on 19 December 2012. Since 2012, he and the Federal Centres staff unit have been overcoming all kinds of unexpected political, legal, structural and financial obstacles in order to provide accommodation for all newly arrived asylum seekers.
