David Calas
David Calas is an architect, urbanist, lecturer and author as well as founder of the transdisciplinary office "Studio Calas". In his work, he confronts fluid transitions between the urban, the rural, architecture, art and the political. Theory- and practice-orientated fields of action that allow for leaps in scale and a continuous change of perspective. The cooperative way of working, driven by dialogue and discourse, favours the search for continuous added value in the creative process.
David Calas was appointed guest lecturer at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano in the Master's programme for Eco-Social Design after many years of teaching at the Vienna University of Technology/Faculty of Architecture and a guest professorship at the German University Cairo/Campus Berlin.
