The pandemic space - a reflection with students from the University of Kassel_Initial situation
Theo Deutinger has been running the TD office since 2005, working on projects at all scales. The results of his work are regularly published in magazines such as Mark, Wired and Domus. Well-known essays on spatial theory that deal critically with consumption and the zeitgeist include "Adi, Audi, Aldi", "Firewall" and "Stadt der Athleten". His "Handbook of Tyranny", published in 2018, has received numerous awards, including as one of the 25 "Most Beautiful German Books". Theo Deutinger curates exhibitions and his work is part of international presentations such as the Design Biennale Kwangju (Korea, 2011), the 14th Architecture Biennale in Venice (Italy 2014) and the Storefront for Art and Architecture in New York (USA 2019). Theo Deutinger has taught at the Bauhaus in Dessau, Harvard in Cambridge and the Strelka Institute in Moscow, among others. He currently teaches at the Vienna University of Technology (Austria), the Design Academy Eindhoven (Netherlands) and is a visiting professor at the University of Kassel.
