Public space today - challenges trends perspectives

Angelus Eisinger is a qualified urban development and planning historian. He has been Director of Regional Planning Zurich and Environs since April 2013. Between 2008-2013 he was Professor of History and Culture of the Metropolis at HafenCity University in Hamburg, and before that Professor of Urban Planning and Spatial Development at the University of Liechtenstein. His extensive publication and consulting activities focus on issues of current urban and spatial development. His current work focuses on innovative planning approaches, functional-spatial transformation strategies and impact analyses of planning processes. He is also a member of the board of trustees of IBA Basel 2020.
