Urban spatial interventions

Klaus Bernhard is a designer and interaction manager at Landestelle Basel. He completed his Master's thesis in the Masterstudio Design on the subject of process design and interim utilisation. The infrastructure of the Landestelle is the result of the process initiated by this thesis. In collaboration with Tadashi Kawamata and Christophe Scheidegger and Art Basel, he realised the artwork 'Favela Café' as project manager with the help of students. In return, the Landestelle project received all the infrastructure for this artwork - exciting work in exchange for infrastructure. Bernhard is responsible for the infrastructure and the cultural and socio-cultural orientation as well as for the concerts.
