Tianjin Library China

Riken Yamamoto is a Japanese architect and professor at Yokahama National University. He heads the architecture bureau Riken Yamamoto & Field Shop Co, Ltd, founded in 1973. With the project 'the Circle' at Zurich Airport, which is currently under construction, he is the design architect of the largest building construction project in Switzerland. In 2012, the architecture bureau built the Tianjin Library in China. The huge library houses over 5 million books on 55,000 m2.
