Maison de l'Ecriture - a third place in the landscape

Vincent Mangeat is an architect and co-owner of the architecture bureau Mangeat/Wahlen in Nyon and professor at the EPFL in Lausanne. With the construction of the Maison de l'Ecriture in Montricher in the canton of Vaud for the Fondation Jan Michalski, the architecture bureau Mangeat/Wahlen has broken new ground. The various buildings form a kind of small settlement. In addition to the large library, individual living spaces for writers and places for encounters and cultural exchange were also created here.
