The flavours of modernity in the interior

Bettina Köhler has been Professor of Art and Cultural History at the Institute of Fashion Design at the HGK, FHNW since 2005. In teaching and research, in lectures and publications, her work spans a bridge between theoretical concepts, conceptual history and practical approaches in various fields of design; in particular between architecture, interior design and fashion. She studied art history, archaeology and urban planning in Bonn, was a research assistant at the gta and then assistant professor for the history of architectural theory at ETH Zurich.
