The material archive - between virtual mediation and sensory experience

Mario Pellin, with his background as an art historian (lic. phil.) and qualified interior designer (FH), deals with the topics of design, craftsmanship and industry, both in his work as a research assistant at the Gewerbemuseum Winterthur and as a lecturer at the Haus der Farbe Zürich. From this perspective, design, architecture and art take on a cultural-historical dimension as well as a technical one, in connection with formal, technological and sociological changes and developments. This opens up many important aspects in relation to our relationship with materials and techniques.
