The room as a sounding body

Ramon De Marco studied audio design at the Basel Music Academy. In 2005, together with Daniel Dettwiler, he founded Idee und Klang GmbH, with which he realised international scenographic projects. Ramon's work focuses on composition for spaces, sound design for media productions and corporate sound. As an electronic musician and sound artist, he has realised projects for various festivals and museums. He has been teaching sound design at the Institute of Interior Architecture and Scenography at the University of Applied Sciences in Basel (FHNW) since 2010 and is a guest lecturer at various universities.
