Restaurant NOOHN

The spacious area on Henric-Petri Strasse has been converted into a Euro-Asian restaurant. A total of 200 people can be seated here. The aim was to skilfully divide up the 850 m2 area for the different areas and allow them to flow into one another. The lounge/take-out and restaurant were to be clearly separated from each other. The central kitchen body facing the street defines the lounge/take-out area, which is used differently depending on the time of day. If you walk past the kitchen body, you reach the rear, quieter area of the actual restaurant, which is no less bright thanks to the large wall slits and skylights, with the unusual sushi bar and another lounge area. (Interior design: Iria Degen, Zurich).

In 2007, we were entrusted with the planning and construction of a seating deck in the rear courtyard of the neighbouring property. The deck is accessed via a new door from Noohn and can also be reached from the historic 'Museum zum Kirschgarten'.
