In the property at Austrasse 32 in Basel, the new owner wanted to give a vacant, ageing 4 1/2 room flat on the 2nd floor a contemporary makeover.

The bright flat with balcony and spacious rooms has a lot of charm, but apart from refreshing the surfaces, it needed new, modern wet areas with kitchen and bathroom.

With just a few interventions, the flat was brought up to date. The kitchen retains the flair of the old flat and now also serves as an extended living space.
