Lonza AG in the SP extension buildings

With its headquarters in Basel and branches worldwide, Lonza Group Ltd is certainly one of the most important companies in Switzerland specialising in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients. Since 2015, the company has also been based in Stücki Park, where it has rented office and laboratory space at Hochbergerstrasse 60 A to E, the elongated part of the Stücki building. Due to the company's steady growth, additional premises were now required, which the company found directly opposite in two of the four new buildings constructed by Blaser Architekten. The basic fit-out of these so-called "blocks", including the basement for storage and parking, was carried out on behalf of Swiss Prime Site Immobilien AG, which is now leasing the space to Lonza. It was precisely here, in Building H to be precise, that we were able to assist the group with the tenant fit-out and realise three laboratory and four office floors as well as a cafeteria and various meeting rooms. In addition to the construction of the blocks themselves, the courtyards with green spaces between the buildings are also part of the concept, giving employees the opportunity to get some fresh air and spend their breaks with a view of the greenery.
